Busy Bees Flushing was created for families who want more than basic afterschool care. We bring together the level of enrichment, creativity, structure, and attention often associated with leading private-school programs—right here in Flushing, Queens. Serving children from kindergarten through 5th grade, Busy Bees Flushing offers a thoughtfully designed afterschool experience where every afternoon has purpose. Children receive daily homework support, build confidence through hands-on learning, explore new interests, and develop meaningful friendships in a safe, welcoming environment. Our enrichment program goes far beyond the ordinary. Students can explore art, music, STEM, science, LEGO engineering, creative construction, and collaborative projects, including our signature 8-foot by 16-foot Magna-Tile wall designed to inspire imagination, problem-solving, and large-scale creativity. We also understand what Working Families need. Located at 41-62 Bowne Street, Suite 1A in Flushing, New York, our licensed program offers school pickup from nearby partner schools, attentive supervision by CPR-trained staff, and convenient weekday care from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Saturday programs and school-holiday camps provide additional flexibility throughout the year. Families may enroll through private pay or eligible ACS child care vouchers. At Busy Bees Flushing, afterschool is not simply the time between school and pickup. Our Story
Busy Bees Flushing was founded by parents who wanted an afterschool program that felt like an extension of a loving home. We started with one classroom, a few caring educators, and a belief that every child deserves a place to feel safe, curious, and celebrated.
Today, we serve families across the neighborhood with a full schedule of enriching activities, homework support, and plenty of outdoor play. Our mission remains the same: to nurture confident, kind, and creative kids.

Every staff member is trained in first aid, positive behavior guidance, and emergency protocols. We maintain low staff-to-child ratios so every child gets the attention they deserve.
